• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Some gentle morning sun will enhance its pink and purple tones, but avoid harsh direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
• Water: Soak the moss ball every 7–10 days, or when it feels light. Allow the moss to slightly dry between soakings. Tradescantia does not like to sit soggy.
• Drainage: After soaking, gently squeeze out excess water and allow the moss ball to drip dry before placing it back on display.
• Humidity: Normal household humidity is perfect. It tolerates dry air better than many houseplants.
• Temperature: Thrives between 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
• Fertilizer: Feed lightly once a month during spring and summer with diluted houseplant fertilizer.
• Winter Care: Growth slows in winter—water less and allow the moss ball to dry more between soakings.
