Ripple Jade is a sculptural succulent native to South Africa, known for its thick, glossy green leaves that form beautiful rippled, crinkled edges as the plant matures. These leaves store water, making the plant highly drought tolerant and extremely easy to care for. Its slow-growing, upright form makes it ideal for kokedama, where it stays balanced and tidy while adding bold texture. Ripple Jade is especially loved for its longevity, low maintenance, and modern, architectural look—making it a perfect gift plant and a striking accent for desks, shelves, and bright indoor spaces.

Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light with a few hours of gentle morning sun. More light keeps the leaves compact and rippled. Avoid harsh afternoon sun.
• Water: Soak the moss ball every 10–14 days. Allow it to dry almost completely between waterings. Leaves should feel firm, not soft.
• Drainage: After soaking, gently squeeze out excess water and allow to drip dry. Never let the moss stay soggy.
• Humidity: Low to normal household humidity is ideal. Does not like moisture sitting on leaves.
• Temperature: Thrives between 65–85°F; keep above 50°F and away from cold drafts.
• Fertilizer: Feed lightly once a month in spring and summer with diluted succulent fertilizer.
• Winter Care: Water sparingly in winter—about every 3–4 weeks.
